Troop Advancements

At last Saturday's Court of Honor, our troop congratulated several scouts for advancing in rank.

Congratulations to all who advanced!

Of course, all scouts hope to one day reach scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle. On Saturday, we celebrated this achievement with Charlie Kralapp. Through Charlie's efforts, a bell choir was created at his church, and we were all treated to a performance or two (conducted by Charlie). What a wonderful way to make a difference in your community, Charlie. Thank you for being a light in this world and a very positive example for others.

Booyah Busy

Booyah prep started Saturday morning at the Forsbergs'...

The boys (and parents) worked very hard peeling and chopping veggies. This group peeled 100 pounds of potatoes and did so quite cheerfully. They really exemplified scouting values (even the sister in the bunch!)

Booyah Fun

The first Saturday in November was a very busy day! It started with veggie cutting at the Forsberg's house--This is an important step in making our bi-annual Boy Scout Booyah to help scouts raise funds for Bear Paw Camp. Many scouts (and their dads) showed up this year to help cut vegetables for the booyah...

Everyone worked hard for two solid hours and did it with smiles (even the clean-up).

Veggie cutting was just the beginning; there was much more to be done...
