Bell Ringing/Bowling December 6, 2014

Troop 1468 Scouts participated in the Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell Ringing campaign.  They spread out at various locations throughout Green Bay.  The boys can all tell you that it feels good to participate in such a worthy tradition, knowing that it helps raise money for thousands of families in our area that are in need of assistance. Then on to bowling and pizza at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley - a fun, fun, fun event to kick off the holiday season.

Troop 1468 Fall Booyah Sale 10-5-14

The Fall Booyah Sale was a great success!  All scouts, parents and other family members pitched in to help out.  A big thank you goes out to Mike Horn for being our booyah chef.  With so many people helping out it sure makes a big job go smoothly and quickly.  A big thanks to all those veggie cutters, all night booyah cookers, deboning crew, sales crew, cleaning crew and of course the sign creators, Hope everyone bought a little extra to freeze for that cold January day when a bowl of Troop 1468 booyah just hits the spot:)
The booyah was DELICIOUS!!!!!

Backpacking Journey - August 2014

43 miles, 5 days, countless memories: Troop 1468 headed to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for a phenomenal week of backpacking. From the area's famed pictured rocks, caves, and sandstone formations; to deep and dark forests; to miles of rolling sand dunes; to shipwrecks and historic lighthouses; and everywhere in-between, the journey provided an experience that Scouts will never forget.

Sylvania Canoe/Fishing Trip, July 23-27, 2014

There was great weather this year.  Big fish were caught and the fish fry was delicious.  There was even a little furry creature that dined on the fish with them, a mink that hid out in a hollowed out fallen tree.  So who caught the biggest fish?  And who won the canoe race this year?
